Product Introduction
Coal mine roof bolts are the core active supporting components for underground mine tunnels and mining areas. By anchoring the loose rock layers into a whole, they prevent the roof and both sides from collapsing, ensuring the safety and efficient production of mining operations.
Basic Composition
◆ Rod body: High-strength threaded steel / round steel, providing tensile strength.
◆ Plate: Square / circular steel plates, dispersing stress and closely adhering to the surrounding rock.
◆ Nuts + washers: Locking and pre-tightening the anchor rods, applying prestress.
◆ Fixing medium: Resin cartridges, cement slurry or frictional anchoring, fixing the rod body in the drill hole.
Core Function and Principle
◆ Active Support: Penetrating the stable rock layer, using the pre-tension force to "nail" the loose rock layer into a composite beam / suspended structure, enhancing the self-bearing capacity of the surrounding rock.

Common types

Resin Bolt
Features: The resin cartridge dries quickly, has strong anchoring force, and offers full-length / extended anchoring.
Applications: Medium-hard to hard rock strata, large-span tunnels, high-stress areas.

Split Set
Features: Open steel pipe, anchored by elastic tension and friction after being driven into the hole. It has a large initial anchoring force and is easy to install.
Applications: Moderate hardness - fractured surrounding rock, temporary / permanent support.

FRP Bolt
Features: Lightweight and high-strength, corrosion-resistant, anti-static, no spark generation.
Applications: Suitable for high-gas, humid, and corrosive tunnels, as an alternative to metal anchor rods.
Key Technical Parameters
◆ Material: Q355B/40Cr high-strength steel, stainless steel, fiberglass; yield strength ≥ 335 MPa.
◆ Specification: Diameter 16–25mm, Length 1.8–3.0m (depending on the thickness of the surrounding rock).
◆ Coating: Hot-dip galvanizing, epoxy / polyurethane, anti-corrosion and rust prevention.
◆ Anchoring force: ≥ 80–150kN (depending on the diameter and anchoring method).
◆ Spacing: 0.8–1.2m, arranged in a rectangular / plum blossom shape.
Installation Procedure
1. Drilling by the drilling rig → 2. Loading the resin cartridge → 3. Inserting the anchor rod and stirring → 4. Waiting for curing → 5. Installing the tray and nuts → 6. Tightening to the specified torque (pre-tension).
