Friction Bolt（Also called Split Set Bolt / Split Friction Rock Bolt） It is a kind of passive friction anchoring rock bolt, made of high-strength cold-rolled steel strip rolled into a continuous slit tubular structure. By interference fitting with drill hole wall, it relies on elastic friction force to realize immediate support, widely used in mines, tunnels and broken rock surrounding rock reinforcement.

Working Principle
The outer diameter of the friction bolt is slightly larger than the drill hole diameter. After being driven into the hole by machinery, the slit pipe is compressed and elastically deformed. The pipe body produces lasting radial extrusion force on the hole wall. Relying on friction between bolt and rock mass to lock surrounding rock, restrain rock displacement and falling.
